Hi Rob & Team,
Congratulations with the new Safety Officer bot. How do you determine the location of staff? The video indicates that it is per organisational unit (Chile Office). Would there be a way to also include staff travelling (e.g. from HQ) in the affected area who will often be outside the local networks?

Hi Peter,

Currently, Safety Officer asks the user if it can track their location during the emergency. We use Facebook's geolocation API. Future versions could optionally locate people in the affected area. 

Would integration with apps like TripIt to track who is traveling help?

Does this App Works without internet?
In an emergency for disaster normally there are not public services: power, wáter.
If there are not power could be no option for internet services or charge mobiles
